I’m thinking a lot about service today. I’ve got a ton to do (around the house) and a backlog of service work. How will it all get done?
I stopped myself. Service work is about serving our Higher Power, doing work through our fellowship for our fellow addicts. Who am I to be so arrogant as to think I can make time. I can only utilize the time I’m given.
I thought long and hard about this, about how I do my service work, when I do it and why I do it. I then took a deep breath, answered my emails, called my fellowship and began the tasks at hand
Service. Its not a job, its a lifestyle.
